Direct TV Latin America & Discovery Networks reach an agreement DirecTV Latin America and Discovery Networks announced yesterday an agreement in which the payment television system will offer interactive programs of each one of the contents of Discovery.
"This is how the transmissions of Discovery Channel: People+Arts, Animal Planet, Discovery Kids, Discovery Health and Discovery Travel and Adventure will include in the next weeks multimedia sections where the viewer will be able to know more about a specific subject while doing a simple "click " from the remote control of his television set."
According to Grupo Reforma, Jesus Franco, senior director of interactive services and new means for DirecTV Latin America, trusted that from the inclusion of interactive programs of Discovery Channel, the number of its subscribers will increase from 300,000 to 325,000 for the end of the year. - (EMEconomy.com)
